LINGONBERRY SAUCE

Lingonberries are not usually cooked like regular lingonberry jam. But in this recipe, it is quickly boiled in a saucepan to get the flavor of nutmeg and orange!
INGREDIENTS
- 1-1.5 dl Use like sugar
- 250 g frozen lingonberries
- 1/4 orange peel
- 1 aniseed star
- 1 tsp nutmeg (preferably freshly grated)
METHOD:
Place the frozen lingonberries in a saucepan and heat them over a low heat with the Use like sugar. Add an anise star and grate the orange and nutmeg. Once the Use Like Sugar has dissolved, let it cool and then pour the lingonberries into a glass bowl.
