SUGAR-FREE CANDIED ALMONDS

Candied almonds are a classic favorite that are easy to make and tastes amazing. This recipe is also a healthier alternative, as it is completely free of added sugar. Candied almonds are perfect to enjoy with mulled wine or as a sweet and crunchy snack!
INGREDIENTS
- 1.5 dl Use like sugar
- 200 g sweet almonds
- ½ dl water
INSTRUCTIONS:
- Roast the almonds in a hot, dry frying pan until they turn a nice golden brown color.
- At the same time, bring the Use Like Sugar and water to the boil in a saucepan. Once it starts to bubble, add the roasted almonds.
- Continue cooking until the almonds start to crackle and the sugar mixture "sugars up" and sticks to the almonds.
- Pour the almonds out onto a baking sheet and gently separate them with a spoon while they cool.
And voilà - your own candied almonds, made in a healthy way, are ready to be enjoyed. Perfect when you want something extra tasty and crunchy, but without added sugar.
