SUGAR-FREE CANDIED ALMONDS

Candied almonds are a classic favorite that are easy to make and tastes amazing. This recipe is also a healthier alternative, as it is completely free of added sugar. Candied almonds are perfect to enjoy with mulled wine or as a sweet and crunchy snack!

INGREDIENTS


INSTRUCTIONS:

  1. Roast the almonds in a hot, dry frying pan until they turn a nice golden brown color.
  2. At the same time, bring the Use Like Sugar and water to the boil in a saucepan. Once it starts to bubble, add the roasted almonds.
  3. Continue cooking until the almonds start to crackle and the sugar mixture "sugars up" and sticks to the almonds.
  4. Pour the almonds out onto a baking sheet and gently separate them with a spoon while they cool.

And voilà - your own candied almonds, made in a healthy way, are ready to be enjoyed. Perfect when you want something extra tasty and crunchy, but without added sugar.
