Stevia, or Steviol glycosides as the sweetener declared on our packaging, has been used as a sweetener for thousands of years. Steviol glycosides are extracted from the Sötflockel plant by soaking and pressing the leaves. Then the liquid is dried so that the sweetness is concentrated. In this process, distilled water is used, which evaporates during the process and is therefore not found in the final product.

Steviol glycosides are almost 300 times sweeter than white refined sugar and are therefore dosed on a very much smaller scale. We use Steviol glycosides in almost all of our products because it is the best high-intensity, natural sweetener available and also does not affect your blood sugar. Very good, we think.
