It is Niclas, i.e. Nick, who developed our sweetening mix and it is composed differently in each product. "I've tested hundreds of ingredients, I've collected all the information imaginable about what effects they have on the body and I've taken thousands of blood tests on myself to see exactly how each ingredient affected my blood sugar," says Nick. The flavours have since been tested by hundreds of people in various focus groups.
What we have found is that the best way we know to get a full and round, sweet taste without added sugar is to use the following sweetener mix.
1. Steviol glycosides
2. Sweet fibers
3. Xylitol
4. Erythritol
The sweetening mix looks different in all our products and sometimes we use several and sometimes a couple of single substances to get the right sweetness for the right product.
