WARM PEARS

Warm pears with crispy, caramelized walnuts are simple to make but oh so festive!
INGREDIENTS
- 4 pears
- 25 g butter
- 3 tbsp Use like sugar
- 1 tbsp cinnamon
- 1 tbsp grated lemon peel
- 2 dl hazelnuts
- 1 tbsp Fiber syrup
- Sea salt caramel ice cream
METHOD:
Pears:
Peel the pears and cut them into wedges/halves. Melt butter in a frying pan and add the pears.
Sprinkle with Use Like Sugar, cinnamon and grated lemon.
Caramelized walnuts:
Chop the walnuts into pieces and place in a frying pan. Toast the nuts in a dry pan on medium heat. Pour over the syrup. Fry the walnuts at medium temperature as the syrup can easily burn them. When the nuts have a golden brown color and start to stick together, they are ready. Add a pinch of salt (for those who want extra saltiness).
Serving: Place the warm pears and caramelized nuts on a plate and serve with sea salt caramel ice cream. Delicious!
