LEMON CAKE WITH FROSTING

A soft and delicious lemon cake with a tasty and sticky frosting on top. Easy to prepare and irresistible to resist when it's on the coffee table! And completely without sugar too! WOW!

INGREDIENTS

Base:

  • 150 g butter
  • 3 eggs
  • 2 dl Use like sugar
  • 0,5 dl cream
  • 2 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1 lemon, grated peel
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • 3 dl flour (gluten-free for those who wish)

Frosting:

  • 200 g philadelphia cheese
  • 50 g butter
  • 3 tbsp Use like sugar
  • 1/2 lemon

    METHOD:

    Bottom:
    Set the oven to 175 degrees. Next, grease a mold. Grease the butter and let it cool slightly. Whisk the eggs and Use like sugar until fluffy. Mix in the cream, butter, lemon juice and zest. Mix the baking powder and flour and then stir in with the rest of the batter. Pour the batter into the mold and bake for about 35-40 minutes.

    Frosting:
    Mix melted butter, lemon juice, 200 g Philadelphia cheese, 3 tbsp Use like sugar. Put the frosting in the fridge until the cake is ready!
